Session Details

In our initial consultation (by phone or email), we'll discuss what type of session you are interested in. Do you want a natural light session? And if so, where would you like it: your home, a park, etc? Or, maybe you're interested in a studio session-I have a full portable setup that I will bring to your home.

Next, we'll determine whether you're interested in candid shots, posed shots, or a little of both. My preference is to do some of both but by knowing what you are looking for, I can tailor the session to suit your needs.

We'll also work out a date and time. I love to do outdoor shoots around sunset but I'm aware that your child might normally be in bed by then. We will find a time that suits you and your child's schedule (naps and mealtimes) so that we can have a happy and fulfilling session!

Your session will last up to two hours (newborn shoots can take up to four). I want your session to be as comfortable as possible, so I will not rush things. I have small children and I know how they can tire easily so we will take breaks as often as necessary.

A week after your session, your proofs (20-30 of them) will be available online for viewing in color and black & white. They will remain online for two weeks for your convenience in ordering. If you place your order within 3 days after your gallery is posted, you will receive a 10% discount.

Most of all I want you to relax and have a good time. I know getting portraits done can seem like a stressful process, but we can make it fun. Come as you are (that's how you'll want to remember your family!) and together we'll capture those moments you never want to forget.
